Toronto, Canada -- ViXS Systems Inc., a fabless semiconductor company and integrated software solutions

and wireless networks, has secured a US$1.75MM investment from the GATX/MM Venture
Finance Partnership.
ViXS Systems designs semiconductor chips for use in home-based gateways. These
gateways control the connectivity and transfer of data to and from the cable or
satellite system, as well as the data's distribution and manipulation throughout
the household. ViXS's products will enable secure Wireless and Wireline distribution
of multiple video and data streams to a broad range of in-home clients.
