ichel Beland is Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of MMV Financial Inc. and is responsible for managing operations and the financial affairs for the Company.

Michel is a chartered accountant and has over 25 years' experience as a senior financial and operational executive in a varied group of companies and sectors. Michel first started his professional career in the hotel business where he spent over twelve years first with CN Hotels then with Four Seasons Hotels and finally as Corporate Controller/CFO at Delta Hotels and Resorts.

After a number of years with Price Waterhouse (now Price Waterhouse Cooper), Michel joined Softkey Software Products as EVP and Chief Financial Officer and was instrumental in the financial success on this TSE and NASDAQ listed company being the fastest growing software company in Canada for two years running.

Michel then joined Newcourt Credit Group Inc. and was part of the senior team that completed the IPO for this financial services company and remained with Newcourt until its sale to CIT. Michel was first Vice President Finance, Planning and Reporting then moved to the United States where he took the responsibilities of CFO and Senior VP Operations. Michel was key in establishing a number of key programs for Newcourt namely with Dell, Snap-On and others and was responsible for a number of M&A activities and subsequent integration including the acquisition of AT&T Capital.

Michel then joined Rogers Wireless as CFO and was then was involved in the start-up phase on a financial software company in the United States.

Michel has spent the last year as CFO for Eolectric Inc. the largest developer of wind farm in Canada where he helped the company source business partners for the ongoing development of wind farms in Canada with a focus on the most recents Hydro Quebec RFP and Ontario SOP.
