Yassine's primary focus is on identifying and structuring potential investments, performing due diligence, and closing new investment opportunities. In addition, Yassine is responsible for portfolio company support.

Most recently Yassine worked as a Senior Financial Analyst following Canadian and US technology companies for Caisse de dépot et placement du Québec. As part of the technology team at Caisse, he was a key member responsible for actively investing in top public and private technology companies in both Canada and the US. His areas of expertise include the semiconductor, computer hardware, EMS and telecommunication equipment sectors. He was also involved with the portfolio decision process and forming strategy for his fund.

Yassine began his career as a Risk Management Consultant at National Bank of Canada, where he established a risk measurement Database.

Yassine was a regular publisher in various academic and financial journals. Yassine received his B.A. from HEC Tunis, and his M.Sc. from HEC Montréal. He is Chartered Financial Analyst and a Certified Financial Risk Manager.
